Hi, friends!

The end of Summer is upon us. Kids are back in school…leaves will soon start to change colors…and the holidays are right around the corner… How did this happen?! Gotta admit, I’m a little sad. I love Autumn, but knowing Winter comes next is a bummer. :(

Of course, it’s not all bad. One Wedding, Two Brides is still available for download—or even in paperback if you prefer and don’t mind the slightly higher price point.

Monarch Butterflies…we raise them here.

I have been blessed with an abundance of milkweed plants in my flower bed and yard. (Which I mow around, of course. ;)) And with milkweed comes Monarch butterflies…and then caterpillars. I absolutely love watching them eat and grow and multiply.

Here are three of the fat little beauties on one leaf!

And this year, for the first time, I’ve actually spotted a few in chrysalis form. Aren’t they cute? Can you see the little spots of gold on the cocoon?

Those are a sign that soon it will open to reveal a beautiful butterfly, ready to head South for the winter.
