I sometimes find my podcast guests slightly stiff in the beginning of our conversation.

I asked Cal Fussman - the no 1 expert in asking questions - how to make the podcast energetic & entertaining from the very first minute.

He advised me to press „record” the very moment we sit with the guest and have a warm up conversation.

So when I’m ready to ask the important questions my guest is already in the zone and we don’t stop talking to begin recording.
