Newsletter - August 2022

Hello, from the Emerald Isles! How was your month of July? I am deep into birthday season as all three of my kids have their birthdays in July and August and 2 of my nephews have their birthdays in that period too. Not to mention friends' birthdays... *cries in broke author*

If you're wondering what the subject is about, well, I'm still looking for Beta Readers and Arc Readers in the following genres:

Contemporary Romance

Fantasy Romance 

MM Romance

Beta Readers and ARC readers (or Alpha Readers) are so important to us, authors. If you do any sort of craft or artwork, you will know how hard it is to see your own mistakes and, especially in writing, after editing so much, you don't even notice them so much.

When it comes to Beta Readers, their opinions and remarks really help shape the final work. Concepts that are repetitive, images that don't work, actions that don't make logistical sense. 

Alpha Readers will read the final product and add a review on release day.

Both Beta and ARC readers get to read the book for free in exchange for an honest review (whether to us or to the public) and early release with a very advantageous, discounted price, only for them.

Work is advancing as usual. My mm contemporary romance is away with my few beta readers so now I am working on my fantasy romance, or romantasy. I saw that term on tiktok and you won't stop me from using it, ever! 

I've had a first read through and there is a lot of work to do. Both the plot and the romance need cleaned up a lot and the rewrites are going to be massive. I am, however, looking forward to doing them, but first I'll need to sit down for a few hours and go over the plot to make sure it all ties in well.

I'm hoping to publish the mm romance in September and start publishing the fantasy romance in episodes in October or November, so please look forward to it.
