Healthy Cougar Week

We are focused on health more than ever it seems, but we can’t forget that health has so many aspects to it!

We invite our entire Cougar Community to participate in our first ever Healthy Cougar Week. Whether you’re a Future Cougar, Current Cougar, Alumnus, or just love our Cougar Community, we challenge you to do one thing for your health each day. This can be anything from exercise to chatting on the phone with a friend!

Mindful Monday: Start your day with reflection or a daily reading! We like this one: Loving Kindness Meditation and this one: http://www.usccb.org/bible/readings/050420.cfm

Tuesday Touch Base: Call or video chat with a friend or family member on the phone and say hello and ask how they’re doing. Don’t know who to talk to? Reach out your favorite teacher or staff member at school-they’d love to hear from you!

Walking Wednesday: Get outside and go for a walk, jog, or bike ride around your neighborhood. Look for signs of spring!

Thursdays are for Spiritual Health: Join us for our weekly virtual prayer service on Facebook, and maybe wind down with some yoga! We recommend: Flow Yoga for Beginners with Rodney Yee

Feel Good Friday: Do one thing that makes you feel good! Bake some cookies, dance to your favorite song, or watch some cute animal videos. Whatever makes you feel good! Get your Cougar Spirit Gear! 

The Spirit Store is gearing up to open for curb side pick-up on Wednesdays from 4pm-7pm for the remainder of the school year!

I've been accepted to Lake Catholic, but haven't registered!
Set up your Virtual Registration Appointment Today!

For families who are interested in registering during this time, we are able to pick your child's classes over the phone with you, via email, or via video call if you'd prefer. These appointments take about 15 minutes!

These "Virtual Registrations" can be set up via email with Emma Maloney at emaloney@lakecatholic.org.

We cannot wait for you child to officially join our Cougar Family, and are happy to answer any questions you may have!

I've haven't started my application or my application is in process!

We are very fortunate to still be processing applications and accepting students even during our building closure!

For our families who have not yet applied, you are welcome to begin the application process at any time using the forms our our website!

The application consists of three pieces:

1. Teacher Recommendation Form

2. Transcripts from their Current School

3. Lake Catholic's Online Application

*Be sure your child is filling out the application form, and not the new student info sheet!

We completely understand that school closings will delay this process, and are happy to work with you throughout the coming weeks to get your child's admissions decision made promptly!

If you are working with your child's school to get records or recommendations sent, please let them know that the best way to have the documents reach us is via email to emaloney@lakecatholic.org.

Once we have all three pieces of your child's application in, we are able to pass it along to our Principal for review and an acceptance decision. If you are unsure where your child is at in this process, give us a call and we'll let you know!
