Blessings to all of our Chara families as we start a new year of music learning and lessons. Your students were amazing at the Christmas recitals, sharing songs of the season and demonstrating their progress in their studies.
Let's encourage your student to start the new year right by: > planning out weekly practice
> building skills with consistent technique
> bringing all materials to class
> being faithful in your attendance
The spring recital will come sooner than you think and a strong foundation will help musicians build for a solid performance and continuing development.
A huge thank you to all our recital attendees who contributed to CASA of Galveston County (Court Appointed Special Advocates) during our music concerts. Your donations were very generous and will provide much needed clothing for the foster children served by this organization.
NEW Virtual Meeting Links
We have made a few changes to your music teacher's meeting links and IDs. Please visit the Virtual Studio Website for the updated links rather than anything you may have saved in the past.
PLEASE NOTE if your student is not able to make their lesson in person for any reason, they are always welcome to have their lesson virtually from home, even if they don't usually take lessons virtually. Just call the front desk so we can let the teacher know ahead of time 832-569-4065.
Christmas Music Books
If your student played from a Chara Christmas book at recital or over the holidays, these should be returned to your musician's individual teacher. Should your child wish to retain these materials to keep permanently, let the teacher know and a $10 fee can be charged with your regular tuition payment.
