The flowers are out in full force and the rains have been good, so good in fact that Cape Town's average dam levels are sitting at 70% already!

Cape Town has even been awarded a certificate from the International Water Association acknowledging us as the first city in the world to reduce its water consumption by 50% in just three years.

Vertical World Record Attempt 2018

In August 200 hand-picked skydivers from around the world jumped from 9 different aircraft in an attempt to set a new head-down world record.

Swoop Freestyle FAI World Championships 2018

Swoop Freestyle is the newest, cutting-edge air sport discipline that involves competitors flying at high speeds across a body of water in order to score points based on style and execution.

Copenhagen & San Diego recently hosted the two international competition stages.

South African SkyDiver Chris Teague came in 11th overall, out of 18 international competitors.

2ND FAI WORLD WINGSUIT FLYING CHAMPIONSHIPS

63 international wingsuit athletes from 23 countries gathered recently in Prostějov, Czech Republic, to compete for speed, distance and time as part of the 2nd FAI World Wingsuit Championships.

Ranking 55th out of 63 competitors, South African SkyDiver Hendri Liebenberg set 2 new FAI African records in the Speed (260.3 km/hr) and Distance (3898m) wingsuit performance flying rounds.
