Hey ,
We've got a great edition of our Weekly newsletter for you!
The long weekend is finally upon us as the country looks to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee and in Hull there a shedload of fantastic events for you to have yourself a royally good time. The Humber Platinum Jubilee Flotilla is the highlight and will see a flotilla of 70 boats gathering on the River Humber. Check out the full list here >>
With June just being around the corner, we can finally start looking forward to the beginning of summer. And with the sun rays comes new opportunities to get out and enjoy our great city. One way of doing that would be to check out the growing number of new eateries that have opened in the area. Luckily our local foodie Ben has made a list of the most exciting new places to eat across the city so you can find Hull's freshest flavours a little easier.
Speaking of getting out and enjoying summer; Liam is continuing to Love Local and is giving you a breakdown on the area's independent garden centres so you can break out those green fingers all season long.
And as always we've got a breakdown of local news including the appointment of Hull's 109th Lord Mayor and Admiral of the Humber, Councillor Christine Randall who was installed at a ceremony at the Guildhall last week.
Enjoy the long weekend!
