Let's talk about Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree, planning for a 2021 Recital, and Fall Progress Reports going home this week!

    November 23rd - 27th
    Studio Closure

    The Studio will be closed the week of November 23rd so that staff and families can spend the holiday week with their families. 

    We WILL have classes on Saturday, November 28th.
    Saturday, November 7th
    Pony Tales Camp Creative

    Unicorns, ponies, and rainbows, OH MY! We will be playing pony themed games and completing a colorful craft. Together we will read stories and learn a dance to a song from My Little Pony.

    Monday, November 16th 3:45 - 4:15pm
    Solace

    This is a time for students ages 10 and up to gather with their dance community to experience worship through dance.  Solace is held one Monday monthly that you are welcome to show up to and is our blessing to our students.
    Important Reminders

    FALL PROGRESS REPORTS

    Your child's Fall Progress Reports will be distributed during class this week.  These are completed by your teachers to give you a better idea of how your child is progressing in dance this season.  If you have questions regarding your child's learning in dance please schedule a conference time with your teacher on November 14th! (more information below).

    ROCKIN' AROUND THE CHRISTMAS TREE

    This year's Dance Christmas performances theme will be "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" and will include dancers of all ages.

    We will have a 2021 Recital Performance. Recital dates and location coming January 2021!

    RECITAL FEE

    Your Season 15 Recital Fee will be auto-withdrawn from your account on file on November 15th. To manage your billing information and Chara account visit the Chara Parent Portal.  You will notice that we have removed the cost of recital tickets as a part of the recital package in order to reduce the immediate cost to our families as a part of our Chara Cares plan this year.

    2020 Parent Teacher Conferences!

    Saturday, November 14th

    We have found that dancers do better in dance class when parents get involved. Attending parent–teacher conferences is one way to be involved and help your dancer succeed here at Chara Christian Dance Academy.

    If you have multiple dancers and they share the same teacher we recommend you sign up for a time slot for each of your dancers.
    Schedule My Parent/Teacher Conference

    Conferences are an opportunity to:
    • Discuss your dancer's progress in each of their classes.
    • Share your dancer's strengths and needs with their teachers.
    • Work with their teachers to help your dancer do well in their dance classes and work towards meeting their dance goals.
