Dear USET/USET SPF Family,
Let your voice be heard! The last virtual outreach session to update the USET Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) is next Thursday, May 18 from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm Central/3:00 pm – 4:30 pm Eastern. Your input is needed to update the CEDS action plan for the next five years. Register today to attend via Zoom!
All are invited to share their viewpoints and experiences, including:
- Tribal Leaders
- Tribal economic development staff
- Tribal Enterprise executives
- Tribal program representatives from Housing, Transportation, Education, Workforce, etc.
- Native small business owners
Why should you attend?
The CEDS serves as an action plan for USET to support Tribal Nation’s community economic development efforts – assist in growing businesses, creating employment opportunities, and attracting capital investment leading to nation rebuilding. The CEDS update will evaluate the accomplishments and assess the impacts from the inaugural report, outline key strategies/initiatives for USET to adopt that help member Tribal Nations achieve their economic development goals, define resiliency strategies for Tribal communities that ensure a strong future, and establish a system that continually measures impact…and we would value your input!
Background:
Created in 2016 through the adoption of the USET Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS), the USET Office of Economic Development assists member Tribal Nations with the growth of economic and community development efforts.
