Indian Winter is finally here! Your Council of Chiefs has been hard at work planning this fantastic event, and we cannot wait for Arrowmen from across Georgia and Alabama to join us at Camp Benjamin Hawkins this weekend! In this final issue of Nine Feathers, read all about Indian Winter, the work done to prepare for this event, and all the cool activities our lodges have been doing to over the past few months!

It is my honor and privilege to welcome you to the 2022 Indian Winter at Camp Benjamin Hawkins. Your Section Vice Chief, James Chalmers, section leadership, and Echeconnee Lodge have put together an excellent event for us this weekend and I’m excited to see what’s in store. Throughout the weekend, I encourage you to try new things. Whether that is taking a drum class without having drumming experience, or learning how to effectively produce a show, the opportunities available for you at Indian Winter are incredible.

As you know, the Order of the Arrow, as well as your section, are experiencing a period of change. As part of that change, Section SR-9 will become Section E6. This change will not affect section operations or events, and all of our member lodges will stay the same, but this is an opportunity for us to work together and make the new section what we want it to be. On Saturday night, during the closing show, the section is excited to officially announce the logo for Section E6! You don't want to miss it!
