Hey everyone,
First, what we wanted to cover this week is that more and more people are turning to meat-free options – and luckily for them, Hull & EY are home to a growing selection of vegan-friendly eateries. From indulgent desserts to hearty mains, there’s something for everyone. We’ve put together a list with some of the best spots to try, so check it out below!
Also, last week we paid a visit to a brand-new exhibition where you can see all 45 rat sculptures together in one place before they leave. It’s a brilliant way to spend an afternoon and really impressive to see them side by side – watch our video below and plan your visit while you still can.
And finally, a new takeaway has just opened on the corner of Paragon Street – Korna Grill. They’ve come up with one of the most unique dishes we’ve tried in a long time: their Thrones, a burger-sandwich hybrid where soft, golden toast replaces the bun, was definitely a hit! Have a watch of our video below and plan to try it out yourself!
As always, there are loads more events happening across Hull & East Yorkshire. Highlights include a screening of a moving film from the Oscar-winning team behind 20 Days in Mariupol, Professor Mark Pearson’s inaugural lecture on the gap between knowledge and action in health and care, and a Halloween charity abseil from Princes Quay – a thrilling way to conquer fears while raising funds.
Check out our monthly events roundup article and full listings for even more to see and do.
We’d love your feedback – scroll down to the form and let us know what you’ve been enjoying, or any suggestions you think would make this newsletter even better.
And as always, thanks for supporting Hull What’s On. Passing this on to friends or family helps us more than you know, and we really appreciate it.
