one6G Summit 2025: Event highlights

The 5th edition of our flagship event was held on September 18-19 at the Palazzo Re Enzo in Bologna, Italy. The event was a resounding success, bringing together 188 participants from 24 countries. Under the theme "6G Innovation: Setting the Standards for Tomorrow," the Summit featured 35 distinguished speakers and 13 live demonstrations that offered a hands-on look at cutting-edge 6G technologies.

Blending Innovation and Heritage: Live 6G Demo at one6G Summit 2025

One of the most memorable moments was a live demo by Huawei and CNIT WiLab, in which experts used cmWave Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) to reconstruct the Garisenda Tower, a historic medieval landmark, in real time. This demonstration showcased how 6G could be used for urban monitoring, environmental sensing, and safeguarding historical treasures.

one6G Summit 2025 Best Demo Awards winners revealed

The one6G Summit's exhibition area featured 13 pioneering demos, with attendees voting for the most impactful ones. The Best Demo Awards Ceremony was an event highlight, celebrating the creativity and technical excellence of the 6G community. Among the winners were Turkcell, Internet Institute & Huawei, and NKUA.
