Preparing for the new school year at the Polytechnic Schools |
At the Polytechnic School in Benguela, teachers are planning for the upcoming school year. They are focusing on different hikes or periods for each grade: getting to know the school and program for 7th grade, deepening knowledge on your chosen profession for 8th grade, and practicing the profession for 9th grade. Working in groups, the teachers are committed to ensuring a good school year where failure is not an option for any student. In a new initiative, 7th-grade teachers from the Polytechnic Benguela participated in experience sharing exchange with their counterparts from the Polytechnic Zango. The exchange was successful and inspired some of the other Polytechnics to do the same.

Preparing for the new school year at the Teacher Training Schools |
Each year, our 15 teacher training schools hold preparatory sessions for the coming team of students. They’ve already passed their entrance exams, so the sessions help students get to know their future teammates, as well as the program and its requirements. The intensive training demands dedication, and these sessions ensure that students are fully aware of the expectations and can prepare for the four years ahead. Collaboration, hard work, and a strong commitment to becoming a good professor for rural areas.
