Cybersecurity compliance report

The report summarises B1MGplus’ work on cybersecurity assessment, analyses relevant EU legal roles and duties, and evaluates the implications of cybersecurity law for both the Genome EDIC and the 1+MG National Coordination Points.

Demonstrator video showcasing 1+MG federated analysis infrastructure - paving the way to federated learning

The European Genomic Data Infrastructure (GDI) project has released a technical demonstration video showcasing a first version of the 1+MG federated analysis infrastructure, analysing real-like synthetic data across six countries. The video shows a user in the Czech Republic analysing data distributed in five other GDI national nodes - Estonia, Germany, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain - without the data leaving its country of origin.

Country representatives vote on 1+MG interim and long-term sustainability

The legal framework for both interim and long-term sustainability of the 1+MG infrastructure has been defined, following a voting by representatives of countries participating in the GDI project. In the long term, member states indicated preference for an EDIC with controllership for data disclosure at national level, exercised through the European Health Data Space (EHDS).
