[TOUR] Kufra, Libya

We are delighted to announce a trip to the least visited NomadMania region – yes, the one least visited of all our 1301. That’s to Libya – Cyrenaica – Kufra, where only 20 of our community claim to have been.

Kufra has a unique history – it didn’t become populated by Arab Bedouins until the mid 19th century. It then fell to the Italians in 1931 following the famous Battle of Kufra. It subsequently  became a garrison town – much like what it remains today – but switched hands when the British took over after defeating the Italians in WWII.

You can find the details of the itinerary here.

The trip is planned for the second half of February – just before Ramadan. We will only be taking 5 travelers on this first attempt, so if this interests you, make sure you read up on the details and respond as soon as you can.

Meetings in Jakarta and Buenos Aires

Last week we had two NomadMania meetings in two very different parts of the world.

One meeting took place on a rooftop in Buenos Aires, Argentina (bottom photo), and the other was held in Jakarta, Indonesia. What a crowd!

P.S. We are looking for further Envoys to host events in certain locations. See the vacant positions on the NomadMania Envoy Page.
