Once again two new titles secure first and second position on the list. "Horse" by Geraldine Brooks was the number one seller for June with 1,441 sales. "Dirt Town" came second with 1,213 sales.

Third spot for the second month in a row was "Lessons in Chemistry" with 909 sales (-223).

Make the most of Wishlists!

Utilising ecommerce wishlists is another handy item in the bookseller's toolkit; allowing your online customers to easily create, manage and share their favourite titles.

From the Circle back-office staff can review and order from these lists, PLUS with our new bulk messaging feature, you can now effortlessly notify customers when a book on their list is available.

KPI's

For Australia May is only down marginally on last year and June is back into positive numbers which is always good to see. Not so rosy for NZ with a more significant 13% drop in May and 6% in June.

Year To Date figures now tracking at -1.56% for AU and -8.1% for NZ.

Australia: -0.58% / +6.4%
New Zealand: -13.04% / -6.25%

Updates Last Month

In June we continued to make improvements to the Circle Gift Card System which is now in beta testing mode.

We can happily announce a new feature; a sharable url is now operational for customers to share their wish lists with friends and family. This is a handy feature that stores may want to promote to customers in their newsletters.

System upgrade work continued including framework, speed and database improvements.

The 99th Booksellers Aotearoa NZ conference will be held at the Park Hyatt in Auckland on 30 & 31 July.
