Summer Lates at The Roman Baths begins!
Until 31 August, The Roman Baths will now be open after hours, giving visitors the rare chance to explore the Baths by twilight. For the first time, these extended evening openings will be accompanied by a specially curated programme of live acoustic music and DJ sets every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Set beside the steaming waters of the Great Bath, the sessions offer a unique and immersive way to experience the site after hours. Rather than formal concerts, performances are designed to complement the surroundings- subtle, ambient, and deeply atmospheric.
Curated in partnership with Bath Arts Collective, the programme celebrates outstanding local talent, bringing acoustic artists and vinyl DJs into the heart of the ancient site. Highlights include Our Man in the Field, fresh from Glastonbury’s Acoustic Stage; Hayden Thorpe, former frontman of the acclaimed Wild Beasts; and Olly Sundown of Bacana Funk.
Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 9am - 10pm Live music sessions 5.30pm - 9pm beside the Great Bath

The Georg Jensen Curve Collection
Capturing the beauty of a perfect arc in sterling silver and 18 carat yellow gold, Regitze Overgaard’s bold and sculptural Curve bangles, earrings, pendants and rings combine striking Scandinavian design with expert craftsmanship.
Standing firmly within Georg Jensen’s history of sculptural jewellery, designer Regitze Overgaard has produced many beautiful collections for the house. Her Curve collection draws on her strengths - love of organic forms, understanding of proportion and craft - resulting in pieces that are both contemporary and classic.
Our picks from the Curve collection...
Georg Jensen Curve Sterling Silver Ring | £370
Two perfect curves of sterling silver meet with a sharp line in this striking ring that continues Georg Jensen’s heritage of bold sculptural jewellery. A masterclass in proportion and sophistication, the Curve ring will appeal to any woman with a strong sense of her own style.
Georg Jensen Curve 18ct Yellow Gold and Silver Hoop Earrings | £1,425
Again, two perfect curves, one fashioned in sterling silver and the other in yellow gold, come together to form earrings that defy convention and express true individuality. Playing with the contrasts between soft roundness and sharp lines, the ear hoops are understated and elegant.

No Way Back
No Way Back is a new magazine publishing untold and lesser known stories circulating around music print journalism around 1977 to 1989 in an attempt to give something back to the writers and photographers who documented the era and whose work is forgotten or now repurposed without credit. Much more than a stroll down memory lane, No Way Back is packed with vintage pop imagery and ephemera as well as writing from the time, providing a fresh, fun dig through many decades-old events that continue to have strong social and cultural reverberations and a profound influence on contemporary music.

An Audience with Nigel Planer, 25 September
Nigel Planer, beloved as Neil the hippy from The Young Ones and a
founding figure of the 80s alternative comedy scene, brings his memoir Young Once to
life in a warm, sharply funny live show of storytelling.
From the wild early days at
The Comedy Store to the chaotic brilliance of The
Comic Strip Presents, Filthy
Rich & Catflap, and beyond – to West End musicals and hit pop
records – Nigel will share a trove of outrageous tales of the backstage chaos
that shaped a generation of comedy: from 20-foot-éclair-related injuries to
gatecrashing raves with Robin Williams, Top of
the Pops and Band Aid, to auditioning for a
stony-faced Robert De Niro.
Full of dry wit, theatrical
flair, and a knack for finding humour in both disaster and triumph, don’t miss
the once-young Nigel as he offers a wildly entertaining and gloriously sideways
glimpse into his quietly remarkable career, in a show that is part performance,
part confession, and all heart.
