Expect the unexpected in this side-splitting Sherlock story. The Hound of the Baskervilles has gripped imaginations since it first appeared in print in 1901. This West End hit adaptation was adapted for the stage in 2006 by John Nicholson and Steven Canny for physical comedy theatre makers, Peepolykus. John Nicholson, an Olivier-nominated director, returns to direct this exciting new production which takes all the familiar elements of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous tale through an exhilarating ride of ridiculously funny performances, witty dialogue, and buckets of chaos.
A talented company of 3 actors will take on the challenge of playing the many different characters in this farcical adaptation. Our audiences will recognise Dave Hearn, who played Richard Hannay in their co-production of The 39 Steps last summer, and has featured in many of the critically acclaimed ‘Goes Wrong’ productions.
