With support from the EEN, we continue our efforts to help Ukraine. In the past month, we have launched a short survey to help adjust our work on bringing Ukrainian and European businesses closer, as well as to prepare an info sheet that will explain current opportunities and obstacles when it comes to business relations with Ukraine. We count on your participation in the survey. The EEN also recently ran the “Investing and doing business in Ukraine” Webinar, a full recording of which is now available.

Seeing an increasingly contested geostrategic environment, intra- and extra-EU supply chains are facing unprecedented pressures and shortages. The EU and Ukrainian (UA) companies have lost their markets and suppliers in Russia and, as a result, many EU business linkages have been disrupted. UA companies are looking for new orders and business opportunities and could become interesting partners for the European industry. Despite the Russian aggression, Ukrainian companies are continuing their business operations. To further boost the collaboration between EU and Ukrainian cluster organisations and companies in Ukraine, the “Clusters meet Regions” workshop on EU-Ukraine Business Partnerships will take place on 29 & 30 March 2023, in Košice, Slovakia.
We also have the EU Clusters Support Ukraine Discussion Group, which is accessible on LinkedIn. It aims to share information and enhance European industries’ collaborations in delivering humanitarian aid for Ukraine, and in supporting Ukrainian refugees living in EU Member States.
You can additionally do your part via the Energy Community Secretariat, which is serving as an entry gate for private energy companies to donate energy equipment for the Ukrainian Energy Infrastructure, based on the needs list compiled by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
