Celebrating Our Risen Lord

Hello Friends,

Easter is right around the corner, and I can’t wait! Here are 10 ideas to have fun as a family and celebrate the Risen Lord.

Pick up a Holy Week board from church, set it up and use it through out Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday.
Drive around the city and take pictures of 10 different crosses you find.
Have an Easter egg hunt with neighbors.

Participate in PRC’s Good Friday Service- Friday from 6:30-7:30pm
Dress up in “Easter clothes” and take a picture.
Make a garden centerpiece for your coffee table. See www.aholyexperience.com for directions and materials needed.
Go to an Easter Cantata as a family or watch a movie about Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Plant flowers in the garden or display some as a centerpiece for your table. As flowers bloom be reminded of Jesus’ resurrected life.
Read the death and resurrection passages in the Bible as a family. (Matthew 26-28; Mark 14-16; Luke 22-24; John 18-20)

Winter Series

For the next few months, we will be teaching through a tool called the “Discipleship Wheel”. It is a simple visual teaching how to detect, dig, discern, declare, do and debrief as a way of intentional discipleship in our everyday life. Our prayer is that we have eyes that are opened to God’s activity around us and courage to obey whatever He calls us into.
