As Summer winds down in the Northern Hemisphere, we see a grand opportunity to sit back and consider where we’ve been putting our energy.
This moment calls to mind a quote attributed to the Vietnamese monk Thich Nhat Hanh. “Our own life has to be our message.” Said another way, everything we say and do is a direct message to the world regarding who we are.
As we consider this concept, we feel content knowing what we’re putting out into the world fulfills our mission of making businesses and technology more human.
As an example, we spent the past month helping our clients connect with their customers. We did so by conducting customer research and leading sessions dedicated to Kano Modeling specific services.
We spoke about this second topic, Service Design & Kano Modeling, at a recent virtual Firecat First Friday event. Stay on the lookout for the video recap coming to you in next month’s newsletter.
We have to collaborate with humans quite often. This is an occupational hazard of our work as human-centered designers. But, what do you do when you're in a collaboration session and emotions run high, collaboration grinds to a halt, or the magic of creative energy dies at the hands of someone’s mood?
