This email is a week early, but it's because there is some cool stuff going on in my writing world. Granted, there is always cool stuff going on in my writing world. Like staring out the window for an hour and calling it 'research'. Trying to figure out which font best contains the very essence of my author-hood and searching the depths of the interwebs to figure out just which new coffee cup I must have.
See...
Cool ass writer stuff!
Simply Protocol has officially emerged from it's cocoon a beautiful purply orange book! - Tell your friends. Tell your Uber driver. Tell your UPS delivery person!
So I decided to take this book 'on the road' for the official release. I journeyed to my childhood home in Southern California because that's where the book takes place; and the date I chose for the open house just happened to coincide with a high school reunion of a certain amount of years. (Two birds, one stone. You get the idea.)
We had a nice turn out at the open house. I'll share a few photos from that below. Notice the photo my friend Jewell took of me, looking all literary and reading aloud to the crowd?! Just so you know, the moment was as dramatic as the photo suggests.
There's also a photo of a large group of people in a bar. That would be the high school reunion. Just for fun, I pointed myself out. Because...well it's the only person you might know.
In other news, the first 3 chapters of Big Trouble in Little Italy are free for two more days! If you want to see if you might like my writing, I highly suggest you start there. Link is below the picture of the book.
And last but not least, November 1st (just hours away at this point!) marks the date of my third release this year in the literary world!
Phew.
Scroll down and find out how to get my Christmas theme novella Let it Snow.
