HHS: Biden-Harris Administration Launches Clean Energy Connector to Bring Nearly $15 Million in Annual Energy Savings To Up To 40,000 Low-Income Households (03/19) - The Biden-Harris Administration, through a partnership between the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, launched the pilot of the Clean Energy Connector, a tool that connects families to solar energy through HHS’ Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program.
White House: Executive Order on Advancing Women’s Health Research and Innovation (03/18) - The Executive Order will further integrate women’s health research in federal research programs, prioritize federal investments in women’s health research and galvanize research on women’s midlife health; and identify current gaps in federal funding.

CMS: Biden-Harris Administration Announces Utah’s Medicaid and CHIP Postpartum Coverage Expansion; 45 States Now Offer Full Year of Coverage After Pregnancy (03/08) – Under this option, states may extend postpartum coverage through Medicaid and CHIP from the current mandatory 60-day period to 12 months following pregnancy.
BGOV: WIC Nutrition Gets $1 Billion Boost in Spending Deal: Farm Brief (03/07) - The federal nutrition program for women, infants, and children has increased an extra $1 billion in the program. The agreement will raise annual funding for the special supplemental program to $7 billion for fiscal year 2024 allowing to safeguard the health of nutritionally at-risk individuals.

HHS: HHS Proposes Rule to Increase Data Collection on American Indian/Alaska Native Children in Foster Care, Adoption Process (02/22) – The Administration for Children and Families proposed to increase data collection on American Indian/Alaska Native children through rulemaking. This aims to improve the information submitted by states to the Children's Bureau for inclusion in the Adoption and Foster Care Analysis Reporting System report.
