Happy Friday Friends!

"Welcome back to "The Cre8tive Life!"- your weekly newsletter full of lifestyle tips, smiles, and cool things to check out!

I bring you greetings from "Gator Country"- where I am doing a little travel therapy, and visiting family in New Orleans. I have gotten a new hair-do, been having some AMAZING seafood, wresting alligators, seeing some inspirational art, and enjoying time with my favorite "cuz-twin." (*I call her that because we have so many similarities in our free-spiritedness, Gemininess, love of travel, and more! We only became aware of each other 2 years ago; but, it feels like we have known each other for a lifetime.) I hope to share more of our adventures next week upon my return!

Be sure to check out my pictures, video highlights, stories, and other life musings on my personal instagram page (@e101) and official brand page (@thecre8tiveartisan) throughout the week---I try to post some of my randomness there.

Have an AMAZING weekend and upcoming week!

My weekly (random) compilation of some of my favorite "cre8tive" things that I want to share:

  • FAVORITE WORD: Sagacity: (noun) acuteness of mental discernment and soundness of judgment

  • ADVICE: "“It is important to expect nothing, to take every experience, including the negative ones, as merely steps on the path, and to proceed.”
    ― Ram Dass

  • MOOD MUSIC: I'm in a bit of a jazzy and sentimental mood this week, so a little bit of Duke Ellington & John Coltrane's "In a Sentimental Mood" seems to be quite fitting.

  • RANDOM RECOMMENDATION: My cousin has one of these PacSafe bags, and swears by them. And, I thought it was pretty cool when she showed me all of the features. So, I thought I would share the info to others who are looking for good travel bags to add to their mix.

  • COOKERY MAGIC:  While in New Orleans, I got to eat one of my favorite things that I hardly see on menus, fried green tomatoes. I had some AMAZING ones at a restaurant, that I know I won't be able to duplicate...but, I definitely want to give THIS RECIPE a try when I get back home. Let me know if you do it before I do!

  • LIFESTYLE TIP: The next time you get one of those annoying calls from a telemarketer, don't say anything, and press "9" on your phone. This should automatically add your number to their "do not call" list.

  • FEEL GOOD STORY: This story of this this couple that has been together for 64 years, and the way the husband celebrates each year, made my heart smile.

I have a super early morning tomorrow, and want to make sure that I get this newsletter out on time...so, I am keeping this area short and sweet this week with a graphic that I found and liked. I hope that it brings you some inspiration!

This week's challenge is to intentionally do something outside of your comfort zone.

Thank you to everyone that has filled out the survey! I will be sharing some upcoming events that I have been working on in the next couple of newsletters- so stay tuned for more info and invites!

For those who haven't filled out the survey, I can definitely still use your feedback. So, if you have not done so already, please take  5 minutes to fill out:

Thanks sooooooo much in advance for your time!

***Totally disregard this part of the newsletter if you have already done this.

Lastly, if you happen to have any future topic ideas, or come across any events I should know about, PLEASE feel free to send those along my way. I always LOVE discovering and learning about new things!

Have a great day, and be sure to take time to enjoy your life!

*"The Cre8tive Life" is the weekly "feel good" component of my consultancy, The Cre8tive Artisan, which is where I "make the magic happen" and curate engaging lifestyle events that help connect us humans in deeper ways. Feel free to CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE to see what I do, and let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help you out! As always, if this newsletter is "not your thing", please feel free to unsubscribe (however, I really hope you don't).
