You will have seen the Actors of Dionysus on social media and in previous newsletters.
Theresa Ryder, writer and teacher, was commissioned to write a piece for the Actors of Dionysus. Entitled 'The Better Judgement of Paris', it takes the form of a dialogue between Hermes and Paris, exploring the judgement that led to the style of the Trojan War.
This year’s Oxford Greek Play are now available to reserve via the Oxford Playhouse website! Orestes will be performed online on Wednesday 28th April at 5pm.
Oxford’s Greek play tradition goes back 140 years, and this April a virtual production will combine ancient Greek and new translations with contemporary dance, live comedy and an original soundtrack. Orestes is being streamed live for one night only.
