September’s Fuel the Growth Conference was a first for the state. The two-and-a-half day event was full of so many learning opportunities. From workforce development to numbers and data, ethics, site selector preparedness, and so much more, the event, held at Black Hills State University brought in dozens of community economic developers looking to gain some knowledge on the economic development field.
By the end of the classes, all students graduated, earning a training certificate, leaving Rapid City with a better understanding of how to help their communities move forward.
