GSE boosts sales force with new appointments
We are pleased to welcome two colleagues to our team to help us provide even closer support.
Maarten Rambach joins us as Area Sales Manager following five years as business development manager at inspection systems provider Lake Image Systems. He brings extensive experience in print technology, automation and customer care.
Renata Rayes joins us as Junior Sales Engineer. She has recently graduated from the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico, in mechanical engineering - which included a year as an exchange student at the University of Twente, Enschede, the Netherlands. Renate’s expertise spans manufacturing, simulation and project engineering.

Skills crisis highlights need for digital transformation
A recent warning from the UK's Young People in Print and Packaging initiative has highlighted the growing skills shortage in the industry. Experienced operators are retiring, while fewer young people enter the sector: there are fewer opportunities, and perceptions of traditional ‘heavy’ industries as ‘dirty’ and inefficient also deter would-be applicants.
This emphasises the existential role that digitalization must play in the future of print.
Sustainable, automated workflows, digital colour management and connected production systems make businesses more attractive workplaces for the next generation. They also help preserve valuable process knowledge that might otherwise be lost as experienced employees leave.
Never mind ‘process optimization’ - digital transformation will be fundamental to resilience and continuity!
