This April, I turned 16.
That means I'm one step closer to driving, vaccinations, buying a lottery ticket and other 16+ privileges. With all these new privileges, I wanted to reflect on what I've been able to do for the first 15 years of my life.
In no particular order, here's 16 things I'm grateful to have done before 16:
1) Became a certified scuba diver
2) Won 3rd place in NY for energy innovation
3) Learned to skateboard
4) Visited 5 continents
5) Started a company
6) Recorded 7+ podcasts
7) Stayed overnight in the Amazon rainforest
8) Got my first job at a YC startup
9) Spoken at over 20 international conferences
10) Built a school in rural Fiji
11) Consulted for 4 multi-million dollar companies
12) Ranked #7 in the county for debate
13) Earned a few thousand dollars of my own
14) Had my articles featured in official magazines
15) Won two gold medals in Tae Kwon Do
16) Partnered with a Nigerian non-profit to decrease child mortality
