F-1 Student News
Fall 2020 Policy Changes Info Session Today!

Wednesday, 1:00-2:00 pm

Several news agencies are reporting that the U.S. government administration has rescinded the policy restricting F-1 visa 

holders from being in only online classes this fall. CIE has not yet received official notification about this change from the U.S. Student and Exchange Visitor Program. We will share more clarification and further updates as soon as we receive official details.

We invite you to join us for an informational session online at 1:00 pm today where we will provide you with an overview of the campus-wide efforts that have been underway to support you. We will also be happy to answer questions as best we can with the information available at that time.

Deadline to File Taxes is Today!

Time is running out to file your US taxes.

Remember, every nonresident who lived, worked or studied in the US in 2019 is legally required to file tax documents with the IRS before July 15th.

Madison College has partnered with Sprintax to help you prepare your US tax documents easily online.

Sprintax will guide you through the tax preparation process, arrange the necessary documents and check if you are due a tax refund.

All you need to do is:

  • Register and follow the simple instructions
  • Complete the online questionnaire
  • Enter your unique code SpTx2019MC51F
  • Sprintax will prepare your tax return

Finally, once you complete the preparation process in the Sprintax software, you must print, sign and mail your documents to the IRS.

Fall Student Plan Survey

In the next few days we will be sending all students a survey to gather information on what your plans are for the fall semester so we can better support you. This survey is mandatory and the information is critical so we know what our students need. 

Look for this survey and fill it out as soon as you get it!
