We can’t get enough of the summer season at Lussmanns. Fresh from coastal trips, Lussmanns’ summer menu of delicious fish dishes will evoke memories of recent holidays. There’ll also be some more summertime jazz, exciting Supper Clubs, news and a perfect sunshine giveaway!

SUMMER MENU

Sea Bream with summer puttanesca is beautifully seasonal, whilst Whole Plaice with a caper and nut brown butter with summer herbs is sure to be a hit. The Crab Linguine with chilli, lemon and capers will be back by popular demand as a summer special.

Other delicious dishes include the Free-range Duck Confit Burger with pomme frites, dijonnaise and onion marmalade, alongside off the bone Organic Leg of Lamb with North African rub and heritage Greek salad. Don’t let the British strawberry season pass you by with our deliciously sweet Eton Mess, and coffee lovers can enjoy our Affogato with county cream ice cream and espresso.

Don’t forget, there’s also our summer set menu available for £14.95 for two courses and £17.95 for three courses, from 12pm – 7pm daily.

JAZZ IN THE GARDEN AT HARPENDEN

This August we continue to celebrate jazz every Tuesday and Wednesday evening (except 14th August) in the garden, from with celebrated artist Bob Haddrell.

The outside space at our Harpenden restaurant is looking beautiful in the sunshine; the walled garden and courtyard is a special place to soak up the British rays, so come and check us out.

BLUEBELL SUPPER CLUBS

The next Supper Club lined up is Beer by Roger Protz (30th September). One of the world’s leading beer writers, historians, lecturers and tasters, Roger was also the editor of the Good Beer Guide until 2018 – what he doesn’t know about beer isn’t really worth knowing.

The evening will include a complimentary glass of Bluebell sparkling cuvée, followed by a four course dinner paired with a selection of beers and ales, and finished with complimentary coffee or tea (£45 per person). You can book your tickets now. Book your tickets.

If cheese is your vice, then book our Supper Club by Eric Charriauz, co-founder of Premier Cheese, on October 8th now.

SAVE THE SEAS

This June and July we were proud to support the Environmental Justice Foundation’s (EJF) Save the Seas Campaign and raise awareness about why we must choose sustainable seafood for the good of our oceans.

Last month we donated £1 from every fish dish from our specials menu to the charity and are delighted to announce we raised £1400. We look forward to working with this worthwhile charity once again next year. If you’d like to read more, click here.
