Dear one6G Community,

Last weekend, we celebrated our fourth anniversary and we took the time to reflect on how far we have come in shaping the future of wireless communications. Since March 2021, our growing global community has been dedicated to advancing, testing, and promoting next-generation wireless technologies. Together, we have:

• Grown to 128 members from over 30 countries, uniting academic and industry expertise.

• Formed strong partnerships with 10 external organizations through bespoke MoUs.

• Expanded our research with 20+ active Work Items, with more in the pipeline.

• Published 13 papers, including our latest on 6G empowering future robotics.

• Hosted nine informative and thought-provoking Open Lectures on a variety of topics.

• Provided several contributions to ITU-R’s “IMT Vision for 2030 and Beyond.”

• Become a 3GPP Market Representation Partner.

• Hosted four successful editions of one6G Summit.

• Engaged in countless conferences and industry events presenting our work and vision and networking with relevant stakeholders.

Looking ahead, we remain committed to driving 6G innovation. Our Open Lectures series continues with the next session scheduled for April 30, 2025, and we are preparing for the fifth edition of the one6G Summit, set for September 18-19, 2025, in Bologna, Italy—an unmissable event focused on 6G standardization.

one6G Open Lectures are back

To share the progress and results of the work performed on the path toward 6G with the extended one6G community, the one6G Association runs a series of online lectures open to anyone interested in the world’s journey toward 6G. Launched in 2021, these 2-hour lectures feature presentations by high-level speakers, followed by interactive Q&A sessions moderated by experts.

We are excited to announce the return of the Open Lectures, with Open Lecture 10 scheduled for April 30, 2025, at 14h00 CEST. This session will cover the subject of Electromagnetic Signal and Information Theory.
