Here are a few major agenda items for the first Bennington City Council meeting of 2021:
The Council will consider preliminary approval for a new 37-home housing development in the Heritage subdivision. It would extend Rainwood Road and connect to 149th Street.
Chief Drew Hilscher will report on the Bennington Police Department's growth and accomplishments in 2020.
The Bennington Public Library Board will recommend appointing Terry Rohren to a vacant seat and re-appointing Mary-Ellen Bartels to her seat.
We'll get an update on the new Kempten Creek subdivision, located south of Bennington Road at Johns-Bohn Park, as the Council considers releasing funds for grading work on a portion of the new parkland.
