On July 26, 2022 Home for Good, GA 505 Continuum of Care Lead began hosting community discussion forums to engage a wide range of community members to discuss the current state of our homelessness response system, explore opportunities to improve the systematic approach to ending homelessness.
Following the community forums, surveys were conducted with forum attendees and other community stakeholders to assess the community’s priorities of who and how to serve the most vulnerable in our community. Below are the results of the surveys completed by 46 individuals representing all sectors of the community including but not limited to homeless service providers, faith community, elected officials, healthcare providers, business owners, veteran’s services organizations, public utilities and households with lived experience. Households with lived experience accounted for 26 % of all responses.
The information received will be part of the community planning process. Please look for more opportunities to join us in planning and implementing systemic change that brings about positive results for ALL in our community.
