Hey everyone,
It’s hard to believe, but summer is almost at the finish line and autumn is on our heels. So first up, we’ve pulled together the best events for the summer bank holiday. Make the most of the long weekend while the evenings are still bright and the kids are off — check the list out below and plan your perfect weekend!
Secondly, we visited a one-of-a-kind pizza spot in Hull, serving up all-you-can-eat Detroit-style pizza with that unbeatable burnt cheese crust. You’ll definitely want to check it out – watch our video below and plan your visit. They’re even running 50% off until 5th September.
And if you’ve ever wondered what happened to the Time Ball, we’ve made a video answering all your questions about this fascinating historic treasure — have a look below.
As always, there are plenty of other brilliant events across Hull & East Yorkshire. The Detective Dino Trail in the city centre is running until the end of August for little explorers, George’s Day will bring families together while raising awareness for the armed forces community, and a candlelit Beatles concert is on its way to Beverley sooner than you think.
Check out our monthly events roundup article and full listings for even more to see and do.
We’d really like to hear from you – just scroll down to the form and share what you’ve been enjoying or any ideas for how we could improve.
And thank you, as always, for backing Hull What’s On. Every time you share this newsletter with a friend or family member, it makes a bigger difference than you might think.
Here’s to another wonderful week ahead!
