In the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak, large volumes of belly capacity have been withdrawn from the market due to the suspension of passenger flights. However, our cargo freighters and Preighters have been in action, operating multiple charter missions and transporting life-saving goods. 

Over the last two months, valuable space on these flights has been primarily taken up by medical equipment and personal protective equipment including masks, nasal swabs, surgical gloves and goggles that are critical in the fight against this current pandemic.

We are pleased to have started operating Cargo flights to and from Sharjah International Airport in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This is part of our increased focus on Cargo operations during these unprecedented times resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and we are honoured to be playing our part in keeping essential goods and supplies moving.

Sharjah International Airport is a competitive freighter hub in the UAE and serves as a strategic gateway linking cargo in Africa to the Middle East and other parts of the world. We look forward to growing this business to foster the economic value chains within Kenya and the rest of Africa.
