For the past 10 years, GS1 Singapore’s NEPC has been serving our members as a one-stop platform to create barcodes and manage product information. With valuable feedback from our members, along with developments in business trends, GS1 Singapore has gone digital with our process, and enhanced the platform to be aligned with changing business needs of our members. On 18 November 2019, we

launched this new platform – now known as weCATALOG. It helps to validate trading partners, verify product information and authenticity, and build consumer trust.

GS1 Standards Update

GS1 Digital Link offers a solution: All your product information in one single link

GS1 Digital Link translates barcodes into connections, shopping experiences and interesting product content. Trading partners can now connect consumers and business partners to all types of product information from dimensions and images to expiration dates, nutritional, medical product data, warranty registration, troubleshooting instruction and even social media links. Industries will then be able to use GS1 Digital Link to engage consumers via apps and websites by simply scanning a barcode.

GS1 Digital Link promises to enhance the shopping experience for consumers while helping to strengthen brand loyalty, increase revenue and improve supply chain traceability and efficiencies for brand owners and retailers. Click here to watch a video on GS1 Digital Link
