The Young Adult Council is an amazing opportunity for young adults age 18 to 33 with disabilities to learn vital leadership skills, gain a host of new networking skills, increase knowledge and confidence of how to appropriately bring forth systems change, and increase awareness of the policies affecting those of the disability community.
Young Adult Council is a statewide community led council. YAC is comprised of a small group of participants and includes a three-part teaching series, with each part of the teaching series being three weeks. The teachings will take place both in-person and hybrid. There is a Fall, Spring, and Summer session.
