Hey ,
It's a bit hot isn't it?
The UK heatwave has certainly made its way to Hull, with temperatures predicted to hit between 28 and 32 degrees Celsius throughout the week. Whilst this weather is enticing to get out and enjoy the sun, Hull's health leaders have urged people to take care during this time. Read here >>
If there's one way to enjoy the sunshine (responsibly), it would be one of Hull's spectacular rooftop café bars. Our man with his ear to the food, Ben, has highlighted the best rooftop hangouts to enjoy fine food, delicious drinks, and some of the best views the city has to offer. Make sure you slather on that sun cream though (factor 50 for me please).
Another way to enjoy the weather this week would be a trip to Hull's bustling Avenues which boast a large range of shopping, eateries, and amazing views. Our adopted Hullensian, Liam, has created an area guide to the stylish avenues with recommendations on were to eat, drink, party, shop, and walk.
The perfect way to cool down this week would be to visit one of the area's incredible indoor waterparks. We've picked out 7 fantastic waterparks, decked out with huge pools, indoor slides, and inflatables, ideal for the upcoming summer holidays to keep the little ones entertained.
Also in this issue, we're checking out some of the area's dream family homes for those looking for a larger property, or those who just like to window shop (me included).
And as always, we've got a roundup of the week's local news as well as a guide to the biggest and best events happening across the city this week.
Stay safe, drink plenty of water, and respect the sun.
