I, Scientist 2020 goes virtual
The fourth installment of the conference is just around the corner and the registrations are officially open. In the face of the craziness that is the year 2020, the organizing team - who have been working hard for the conference since last summer - bravely decided to rise to the challenge and move the event online. As always, we have a special discount for our members, so if you're planning on coming, send us an email to get a registration link
This year, we shine the light on topics like race in academia, innovative working conditions, social entrepreneurship and others. Confirmed speakers include Dr. Virginia Valian, Professor of Psychology at Hunter College, Angela Saini, the writer of the "Inferior" best-seller, Jess Wade, the scientist committed to writing as many Wikipedia entries about female and minority scientists as possible, the delightfully creative Sade Abiodun, and many more. For the full list and short bios of the formidable line-up, click here.
Even though the conference is online, there is no need to worry - plenty of time was dedicated to networking (an unofficial hallmark of the conference), and, of course, a career fair as well. Have a look at the entire schedule here.
Get your ticket now and see you in September!
