Walk Of The Month

Great Wood And Derwentwater

This walk is lovely at any time of the year but it is particularly special in the Autumn as it is perfect for seeing the very best of the Autumn colours.

Taking you through Great Wood beneath Walla Crag and back along the lakeshore with fine views over Derwentwater to Catbells, this low level walk is just over 4 miles.
