The Kids Escaping Drugs Annual Golf Tournament was held on July 11th at Brookfield Country Club. 32 foursomes came out for a fun and exciting day of golf, contests, and delicious food. We would like to thank all of our foursomes and sponsors for supporting this event!

We had a great 4 days at the Erie County Fair! We are excited to share that we raised over $6,000! We would like to thank all of our community partners that donated prizes, our friend Mary Alice Ubal - State Farm Agent for her generous sponsorship, and WGRZ-Channel 2 for sharing their space with us at the fair. We also want to recognize all of the amazing volunteers that helped to make each day a success! Special shout-out to Barry Lillis, one of our incredible founders for stopping by to spin the wheel!

Our friend Tom McNulty from Spotlight on Hope generously donated sports equipment and art supplies for the kids on the campus. Thank you for thinking of us Tom!

The Corvettes of Buffalo held their Caravan event on August 7th. We would like to thank Kevin, Jim, Skip, and everyone associated with the Corvettes of Buffalo for championing our mission and for their unwavering commitment to Kids Escaping Drugs! Their generous donation of $21,070 is greatly appreciated. We are so grateful for their support and dedication.

On August 25th, the community came together to honor the legacy of Dick Gallagher, one of our founders who passed away in 2020 by dedicating the pavilion, basketball court, and field on the campus to his memory. 

Thank you to everyone that helped to make this day special including Robin Clouden, Jodie Altman, Ellie Martinez, Amy D., Bill Loecher the KED Board of Directors and Reverend James Lewis III. 

We also want to extend a sincere thank you to the Gallagher family for joining us to honor Dick.

Lastly, we want to thank Dick Gallagher for everything that he has done for us and the families of Western New York. We will forever be grateful for his leadership and commitment. We are proud to dedicate the Sports Park on campus to Dick's memory. We love and miss you, Dick!
