Ducking Jeeps started in 2020, during the height of the pandemic, as a way to spread kindness and smiles in a world of darkness.
Fuquay-Varina Duck Duck Jeep was founded on August 28,2020. Founder, Jamie Morris and her daughter, Katelynn, started ‘ducking’ Jeeps. They even took Police and Firefighter Ducks to the Fuquay-Varina Police Department and all three Fire Stations as a way to say ‘Thank You’ to our First Responders.
Fuquay-Varina Duck Duck Jeep has recently reached new levels. With over 500 members, they have started to raise money for charity. So far this year, they have raised $3000 for St. Jude and they aren’t done yet!
The next event they have planned is on September 17, 2022 at Mason Jar Lager Company and is geared towards a Family Fun Day. Not only will there be Jeep activities, but the Whole community is invited! There will be kids games, RTI Ramp Competition, Show and Shine with Car Show, DJ, Live Music, Silent Auction, Food Trucks and More!
