Then it's time I shared with you this wonderful ride with Smokey Bear, piloted by (now former) NM Supreme Court Justice Judy Nakamura, one of a handful of lucky volunteers who get to fly this amazing balloon. I have AARP to thank for sending me to Albuquerque's Balloon Fiesta for this super cool commission, and Justice Nakamura's skillful navigation for returning me safely to the ground. Phew!
