August 2018 Update from Author Lynnette Bonner

My Life this Month...

Oh boy, where has the summer gone? Right?

My daughter has been doing some horseback riding, so we've run her here and there for that. I spent a week at the end of July being the craft lady and director for Vacation Bible School, which is always fun and rewarding, but if I'm honest, exhausting. :) Then my husband and I took a couple days at the coast with two of our best friends for some R&R. While at the coast we took a little horseback ride along the edge of the Pacific. This is me on my ride - his name was Goldie. The other picture is of my husband, pretending to fall off the huge rock wall along the inside of Gray's harbor. I love that man! He keeps me laughing!

But don't worry, all this busyness hasn't kept me from writing! I've been working hard with several other ladies to bring you the boxed set Exposed - see below. And next after that will come book 3 in the Wyldhaven series, Beauty from Ashes - I'll have a cover reveal for that book in my September newsletter.

Until then, enjoy the remaining weeks of summer! And don't forget to read a little. :)

From My Heart...

If I'm being honest, it's been a bit of a rough week. I mentioned up above that my husband and I went to the coast this week, what I didn't mention was that while we were there we got some bad news about a death in our family. This has had me thinking a lot about heaven this week and what it must be like to be free from the burdens of sin and frail flesh.

I encourage each of you to go read Revelation 21 and 22. These are powerful verses that are so encouraging for those who know God.

Thanks for reading, and if you think of it, say a prayer for our family this week as we process through this loss.

Until next time, God bless you, one and all.
