Spring Is In The Air As Keswick Prepares To Welcome You Back

With snowdrops and crocuses already in bloom and daffodils preparing to show their sunny faces, Spring is most definitely in the air.

To add to the feeling of optimism and new beginnings we have been given provisional dates for when businesses can re-open and travel can recommence.  We can't wait to get out and about again, how about you?

Find out below what can open when and when you will be able to travel.

A Roadmap Back To Re-opening

I am sure that you are as relieved as we are that the vaccination programme is forging ahead and we now have provisional dates for businesses re-opening and being able to travel and see people again.

On 29th March* the stay at home order formally ends but we are still advised to minimise travel and stay local.

12th April* will see our shops re-open and pubs and restaurants can serve food and drink outisde.  Outdoor attractions can re-open and overnight stays will again be permitted.  At this stage only self-catering accommodation will be allowed to open.

From 17th May* all other accommodation can re-open and pubs and restaurants can return to serving food and drink inside.

We know that many of you can't wait to get back to Keswick.  We recommend that you book your accommodation as soon as you can to avoid disappointment and consider booking in advance for evening meals as well.  We will keep our website as up to date as possible with information about opening times, etc.

By 21st June* it is hoped that all other businesses, not covered in earlier stages, can re-open.

At each stage social contact limits will apply and our businesses will be working hard to ensure that they can still provide you with the best level of service whilst adhering to the rules.

If you have any specific queries or need any help planning, please do get in touch with us and we will be happy to help in any way we can.

*dates are subject to final confirmation.

Show Mum She's Special With A Gift From Keswick

Mothers Day (14th March) is fast approaching and whilst we can't treat our mums to a nice lunch or afternoon tea, we can still show them how much we love them and that they are special.

Why not take a look at our Shop Online & Vouchers page on the website for inspiration?  Take your pick from chocolate, jewellery, books, art or how about a craft day? If you really can't decide, you can always buy a voucher so she can choose for herself.
