A brief personal update: since I last wrote you, we moved out of NYC, we dealt with several COVID cases in the family (as well as a stroke, but everyone is doing okay now), and our beautiful elderly rescue dog Eddie crossed his rainbow bridge. 🌈 And, I wrote a second book–about how to calm anxiety (more on that launch soon!) It's been up and down for sure.
I know it's been the same for you. My heart feels a hot squeeze as I sit here thinking about your experience this past year, and the experiences of others, too. The jobs lost, the lives lost, the rituals lost. The suffering, the truth, the people unable to face the suffering or see the truth. It's been a lot. I have no platitude to add; I'm just sitting here in it with you. I love you.
