Maria Navarrete-Olvera, owner of Zena Florist in Toughkenamon and Kennett Square, supported local growers by sharing a lot of love with our community this week. She and her team handed out free locally grown sunflowers to community members around town, in her store, and at various places such as KACS and Kennett Copy.

Thank you from Kennett Library

This week the Kennett Library staff, Board of Trustees, construction crew, and community celebrated the completion of the main structure of the new library building and sign the final beam before it was set in place. The library is grateful for such strong community support for this milestone.

Program highlight: Are you pressed for time but love to read? The library’s short story discussion club, Eat Your Words, meets virtually every third Thursday of the month over the lunch hour. At the next meeting, on July 21, the group will be talking about stories by Ukrainian writers. Get more details and download the stories here.
