Prayer Points from ministry leaders around the world:

• It's Mission Emphasis Week! Give thanks with us for all the ways God is working through CRC churches, individuals, and partner ministries to share the hope of the gospel throughout the world. Pray for continued and strengthened relationships between Resonate and CRC churches so that many more people will come to know the hope, mercy, and grace of Christ.
  
  
• Resonate missionaries in West Africa ask you to pray for peace in the midst of conflict and political upheaval.
  
  
• As we honor Mexican Independence Day this week, give thanks for the many ways God is working through Resonate partner church plants that minister with people who have immigrated to Canada and the United States from Mexico. These church plants are passionate about evangelism and spreading the gospel with their neighbors.
  
  
• Sharing your faith isn't easy, so Resonate developed Witness: Equipped to Share the Good News, a new resource to help equip believers to share the gospel with friends, family, and neighbors. Pray that the Holy Spirit will use this tool to transform lives and communities.
  
  
• Resonate missionaries Jeong and MiSook Gho ask for prayer for online leadership trainings they are leading. Believers from several countries are gathering online! Ask God to equip and encourage these emerging leaders for the global church.
  
  
• Resonate partner Christian Schools in the Dominican Republic recently started their school year. Resonate missionaries Steve and Sandra Brauning ask you to pray for the students and staff needs. Pray that they would be able to have safe in-person classes this academic year.

We recently asked you to pray for Hesed Community Church, a Resonate partner church plant in Detroit, Michigan. Thank you for praying!

“These are trying times for all of us. I'm sure you've experienced your share of adaptation and grief this year," said Hesed's pastors, Nate Bull and Mark Van Andel.

Detroit has lost more than 1,200 people in Covid-19-related deaths, and many people have lost employment. But Nate and Mark said they've also seen amazing resilience from friends and neighbors.

"People have come together in generosity and determination to face these difficulties head on. We've seen people sharing food, driving friends to doctor appointments, and supporting each other with educational endeavors," they said. "May we all grow in our faith during these days of opportunity.”
