The Philosophy of Teleology: noun: The theory that events and developments are meant to achieve a purpose and happen because of that…. We go back to the ancient Greeks for this one. Aristotle came up with telos, an inner purpose or goal that is meant to be achieved. Bottom line, teleology implies there is an intelligent designer, a god.
