Dear USET/USET SPF Family,
We are reaching out to share a potential funding opportunity and to assess interest among Tribal Nations.
Pending availability of funds, our program is exploring support for Tribal Nations interested in acquiring a drug detection device (MX-908). This technology is commonly used by public safety, emergency response, and health programs to identify unknown or hazardous substances and support overdose prevention and response efforts. Please share with the most appropriate staff.
At this time, we are requesting expressions of interest only. This inquiry does not represent a commitment of funding, but will help inform program planning and potential allocation should funds become available.
If your Nation is interested in learning more or being considered for this opportunity, please email Bernice Jordan, Integrated Community Health Manager, no later than March 1 and include:
- Tribal Nation name
- Point of contact (name, title, email, phone)
- Intended program or department use (e.g., public safety, health, emergency management)
- Brief description of need or anticipated use
Additional information will be shared with interested Tribal Nations as details are finalized.
We appreciate your time and look forward to continued collaboration in support of community safety and wellbeing.
